A comparison between an authentic Nike and Far East 'AAA' copy of Aston Villa 2009/10 Home shirt.
In most cases, 'AAA' shirt almost always comes in 3 sizes: S, M & XL.
In this example both shirts are labelled XL. The authentic slightly smaller in measurement.
CLUB EMBLEM:
Authentic - Embossed Embroidered Lion |
AAA - Emblem is Smooth & Even to the touch |
Authentic - Thread slightly thicker and has sheen on emblem and the border of the crest |
AAA - Dull finish on thread - the crest is double stitched to the shirt |
LOGO & SPONSOR:
Authentic - Thicker 'Swoosh' - Even stitching |
AAA - Thinner 'Swoosh'. Even stitching albeit heavier |
Authentic - Aerated Material. White on Silver Size Label is clear |
AAA - Tightly knit material. Size Label not as clear |
Authentic - Sponsor name has gold border outlining the letters |
AAA - No gold outline on sponsor name. Possibly a leftover from previous season's lettering. The 'AAA' copy is infamous for releasing shirts before the official launch date and most of the time the makers will anticipate the sponsor's logo. The 'Acorn' logo from the previous season does not have the gold outline. |

AAA (Top) Authentic (Bottom) The lettering is almost the same size |
